50 Years of Mystery

Erol has belonged to a Masonic lodge for more than fifty years. The film follows him between the lodge and the everyday: the rituals he keeps, the values he was taught there, and the way kindness, justice and the work on oneself leave the ceremony and settle into an ordinary life. What emerges is not the portrait of a secret society but of a man, and of how an old philosophy can still hold in the modern world.
